WEDDING VOW RENEWAL SERVICE Feb 11, 2018 at 10:45 am There will be an opportunity for married couples to renew their wedding vows during the regular morning service on Sunday, February 11. Married couples wishing to participate will all stand at the appropriate time in the service. All men, then all women will repeat the vows en mass. A certificate of wedding renewals will be available for all couples who participate. This is open to anyone who is married. They don't have to be members of the church. Members may want to use the occasion to invite married couples they know who would like to do this.
FAITHFUL STAMPERS STAMPIN UP PARTY Feb 19, 2018 at 10 am and 7 pm If you like making cards, this is a great event for adults. Done annually, this year it is Monday February 19, at 10 am and 7 pm. Free event to make a few cards, have refreshments & great fellowship! Then, if you want to look through Stamp Up catalogs & order you can, or you can just leave! Ask that you RSVP to Stephanie if coming by Feb 12 so we have supplies.
EASTER CANDY SALES Candy for sale March 18 & 25 Once again we will be asking anyone that can to make candy for Easter time. Most make chocolate molded candy, but we have also had delicious chocolate covered nuts, rice krispy creations, or other creative treats that have helped with sales. Once turned in, we open sales to the church, stampers, and other groups as we can, finishing sales with our spring rummage sale. If you can make candy, please bring it in March 17 & 24. Candy will be sold after church March 18 & 25 - mark the date! EMMAUS WALKS Men's Walk - April 12-15, 2018. Women's Walk - April 19-22, 2018. Great way for adults to be refreshed in their walk with the Lord! A weekend of time for your to hear talks, work in groups, sing, eat, and have good fellowship. Meant to encourage those who know the Lord & refill you in God's love so you are ready to serve in your church, community, & the world. KID'S ADVENTURE WEEK Get SHIPWRECKED with us! June 18 - 22, 2018 from 9:30 -12 This summer, plan for your kids to have a great time with us! Instead of sitting with electronics they could be playing games, making friends, learning stories about Jesus, eating snacks, singing, etc! Come get ship wrecked with us, and be rescued by Jesus! We all have times or circumstances where we need rescued, so join us June 18 - 22, 2018 from 9:30 - noon Monday-Friday. Save the date for kids grades K-5! Lots of help will be needed by teens and adults.

We are looking for outstanding Christian women and men for summer staff positions. PEDALING PARSON BIKE TRIP Feb 11-21, 2018 Pastor Don will be going on the Pedaling Parsons Florida Tour for Missions February 11th through 21st. Keep them in prayer! Pastor Don and Don Laux will be leaving after church February 11 to go on a mission tour in Florida with the Pedaling Parsons. They will be sleeping in Methodist churches each night. During the day, Pastor Don will be riding with other Pedaling Parsons, and Don Laux will be driving the support vehicle and setting up the break and lunch stops. They ride about 60-70 miles a day along the East Coast, stopping for breaks and lunch. Each church usually offers an evening meal and informal program. This year, they are addressing the opioid addiction and overdose crisis but raising money to help local churches sponsor support and recovery groups. If you would like to help financially, please make checks out to Pedaling Parsons and send to the church or put in the offering. There will be 2 more rides later this year.
WOOD TOOYS PROJECT Anyone that likes working with wood...here is an opportunity! A retired Pastor moved into this area and wants to form a group that can make simple wooden toys to be given away at Christmas to social service agencies in the area. PARADE CHURCH FLOAT Memorial Day Parade This year we want to change what we do for the Memorial Day Parade and have a float that shows the ministries of our church. We still want to promote our VBS,but help the people of our community see ways we can help, or ministries they can help out! We need volunteers to help & all committees, ministries to see what they are about and how to promote it. Sign up in the foyer if you would be interested in helping.
HOSPICE NEEDS VOLUNTEERS Hospice relies on volunteers to do outreach, phone calls, fundraising, data entry, etc. Even teens can help visit patients, bake cookies, help with meals or other projects.
