ADVENT ADVENTURES! Let's give Jesus a birthday present! To rethink the way we typically celebrate Christmas we will be going on different field trips, or adventures every Thursday of Advent. One Thursday we may go to a nearby laundromat with quarters and feed the machines so people there can wash their clothes for free. Another Thursday we might bring stuffed animals and travel to a nearby nursing home to hand them out to the residents and sing Christmas carols. One Thursday we might bring socks and underwear and go to the local shelter and visit residents there. This will take most of us out of our comfort zone, but the reward will be the feeling we experience as we give Jesus these birthday presents and refocus on the real reason for Christmas. Meet every Thursday at 6:30 pm to head out and then we will regroup for reflection. Kids are welcome to participate as long as a parent or guardian is with them. HELP FOR SENIORS How can you help? We have seniors who need a ride to the doctor, store, etc from time to time. They may also need help with cleaning, yardwork or something else around the house. If you are willing to help in this area please tell Roberta or the office! Thank you!

TEACHER SUPPORTERS Our church has adopted 17 teachers from the high school and 13 teachers from the middle school. We have a secret pal for each that keeps them in prayer and sends notes or gifts monthly. We ask that you too keep them in prayer. We know young people need positive influences, so we want to encourage the main ones in their lives. We are excited that Community Bible Church has taken over encouraging the elementary school! God is at work in our community! Keep praying!
